  12. This educational software programme was put together using Gold Disks
  13. Hyperbook and is meant to aid students of military history,wargamers,
  14. and the merely curious.

  16. I could have put a lot more stuff on two disks and originally had planned
  17. some truly massive text files - hundreds of maps, pics etc etc and then
  18. realised that the only real way to the Second World War properly was on
  19. a CD disk - HOWEVER! the rescources of Asgard, although they are getting
  20. better do not stretch to the hardware necessary to write to CD - or for
  21. that matter to own a CD drive - so.......I decided to get as musch on
  22. one disk as I could and still retain the flavour and atmosphere of those
  23. turbulent times in the 40`s.

  25. WHAT I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE PUT ON A HYPERDISK (CD)

  27. * Animations of fighter/tank action.

  29. * Animated maps.
  30.  
  31. * A text file for each and every major campaign.

  33. * Background notes for all the major fighting forces.
  34.  
  35. * Graphs and charts of the relevant statistics, miltary and economic.

  37. * Sampled speech of leading men/women of the day.
  38.  
  39. * Modules of national anthems etc.
  40.  
  41. * ...lts more ideas where these came from

  45.  IF YOU OWN A SOFTWARE COMPANY THAT CAN UNDERWRITE THE DEVELOPMENT

  50. I feel that the contents of the disk are reasonable given the vast
  51. scope of the subject matter and the limited space on one disk.

  54. Anway I`ve got quite a lot of stuff on this disk and hope that its
  55. of some use to somebody. Drop a line to Asgard with any comments -
  56. constructive criticism you may have of it - nut we`re very thin skinned
  57. so try and be nice.....
